How to use these prompts

Where is the train going?
Who is on board?

Prompts
  1. "I don't know, but I think we should be told." John Junor
  2. On basketball day, write a story about a basketball team.
  3. In 1870, Elizabeth Garrett Anderson became the first British woman to qualify as a doctor. Write a story about a woman doctor.
  4. Wikipedia went online for the first time in 2001. Write a Wikipedia article about a fictitious place, person or animal.
  5. In 1797 a top hat was worn in public for the first time. Write a story featuring a top hat.

  • Usually sweet, well-mannered and genial, but can become hostile and cruel when aroused.
  • Fond of nature, in particular seas and rainforests. Occupations involving water or products grown in the tropics (eg rubber, coffee, sugar) would suit them.
