A Year of Writing Prompts: January 7

How to use these prompts

Could this dog sled be racing off on a lifesaving mission?
Or trying to win a grueling race?
Or is it people on a winter holiday trying it out for fun?


Prompts
  1. It's Grandmother's Day in Bulgaria. Write a story about a grandmother.
  2. It's also Distaff Day, when women traditionally go back to work after Christmas. Write about what happens when a woman, or women, return to work for the first time in the new year.
  3. And, I'm Not Going To Take It Anymore Day. Write about someone who finally snaps.
  4. The typewriter was patented in 1714. Write a story with a typewriter in it.
