Prompts

1. It's Radio Day. Write about something connected with radio. Someone for whom radio is a lifeline, listening to it, or using it to communicate. Alternatively, a story set at a radio station.
2. "Nobody wants to spend eternity alone." Greg Egan
3. In 2010, JD Salinger's toilet was put up for sale on Ebay for a million dollars. Your character is the number one fan of a writer, musician or artist. The thing they want most in life is to own something which once belonged to their idol. How do they go about getting it?
4. On this date in 1960 the USSR recovered two dogs alive from space. Tell the story of the trip to space from the point of view of one of the dogs.
5. It's Summer Cool Off Day. Write about what someone does in an attempt to cool down on a hot summer day.
