Prompts

  1. This date in 1938 was the day "Wrong Way" Corrigan "accidentally" flew to Dublin from New York despite being prohibited from doing so. He claimed he'd been looking at the wrong end of a compass needle. Your character wants to do something but is prevented by laws or rules. They do it anyway by claiming a mistake. Tell their story.
  2. It's Prisoners of War recognition day. Write a story about a prisoner of war.
  3. It's Crank Call Day. Your character makes a crank call - what happens?
  4. "Never go to bed mad. Stay up and fight." Phyllis Diller
  5. Today is the birthday of Camilla Parker-Bowles, the second wife of Prince Charles. Your character is the second spouse of a king/queen/prince/princess who has to deal with the fact their predecessor was much loved by the people.
