Prompts

  1. It's Henry Ford's birthday and Kiss Your Car Day, a day on which you are supposed to pamper your car. Write about a character who is crazily obsessed with their car.
  2. "If I had caused the cloud, it was my duty to make an effort to dispel it." Emily Bronte
  3. On the birthdate of Henry Moore, write a story about a sculptor.
  4. Parkinson's Law - anything expands to fill the time or the space available for it. Your character attempts to make more time or more space.
  5. One word is being seen carved, daubed, spray-painted or pencilled in locations all over the city. What is the word? Who is producing this graffiti, and why?
