How to use these prompts

Write about this helicopter.
Is it on its way to rescue people?
Or is it a scenic flight for tourists?
Who are the passengers and what happens to them?



Prompts

  1. In 2007 a restaurant in Thailand served the world's most expensive meal which, with the world's best chefs, most pricey ingredients and wine for each course, ended up costing a million Thai Baht or $30,000. Write about some people who go out for a meal, and while it might not be as pricey as that one, find that the bill comes to more money than they have between them.
  2. "All the news that's fit to print." This slogan first appeared in 1897. Write about an intrepid news reporter in search of a story.

  4. "Even the largest avalanche is triggered by small things." Vernor Vinge
  5. In 1788, the first marriages took place in Australia. 14 couples got hitched, all of them convicts. Tell the story of one such couple.
