Prompts

  1. According to tradition, the first person you see today, who is not a relative, will be your Valentine. Write a story incorporating this idea. A love that blooms unexpectedly with someone a person sees first thing in the morning; or someone trying to engineer an early meeting with someone they like.
  2. "I may have my faults, but being wrong isn't one of them." Jimmy Hoffa
  3. Write about someone who is single on Valentine's Day. Are they happy about it, or not? What do they do? Are they still single at the end of the day?
  4. Today is Ferris Wheel Day. Write a story which features a Ferris Wheel.
  5. "We be ragged and you be fine; please to give us a Valentine".

  • May be aristocratic and proud of their house, lineage and the achievements of their ancestors, while being forgiving of the deeds of their less noble forebears. If they are not actually aristocratic, they will have aristocratic qualities. An interest in genealogy is likely.
