How to use these prompts

Who is this woman?
What is her occupation?
Describe a typical day in her life, and/or one with a few challenges.



Prompts

  2. "The Day the Music Died".
  3. The first recorded school exams in Britain took place in 1817. Write about a student taking their first exam in school.
  4. In 1999 a British women's magazine ran a contest in which the prize was £500 towards legal bills to the woman who could come up with the best reason for filing for divorce. Imagine a woman entering that contest. What does she write?
  5. At the end of the film Groundhog Day, the main character is hugely relieved to wake up and find that it is February 3rd and he doesn't have to live through Groundhog Day again. Write about someone who has managed to break out of a crushing routine.
