Prompts

  1. William Shakespeare was born and died on this date. Pick a Shakespeare play and write a modern interpretation of the story.
  2. It is St George's Day and the National Day of England. Write about something quintessentially English - pots of tea, queuing, bowler hats, the WI, talking about the weather - whatever you like.
  3. Write a story featuring a dragon.

  5. It's Take a Chance Day. Write about someone who takes a chance.
