How to use these prompts

A woman who has just had her hair done. For what occasion?
Or is there something magical or sinister about the mirror?



Prompts

  1. In 1999 a lifesize waxwork of Adolph Hitler was stolen from a museum in Canada. Write the story of what the thieves intended to do with it.
  2. The Oxford/Cambridge Boat Race takes place around this time. Write a story about a boat race.
  3. It's Plan Your Epitaph Day. If you died tomorrow, what would your obituary/epitaph say?
  4. "The most exciting phrase to hear in science ... is not "Eureka!" but "That's funny..." Isaac Asimov
  5. Today's guardian angel is Elemiah, who helps with travel, insight from the unconscious mind, changes, immigration, gaining positions of leadership, reconciliation and mutual agreement, ending a bad period and starting a happy one. Write a story about someone who has cause to call upon this angel.
