  1. "Revenge is living well, without you." Joyce Carol Oates
  2. It's Bloomsday, when literary types follow in the footsteps of the character in James Joyce's Ulysses, mostly to pubs, bars and restaurants in Dublin. Your characters are embarking upon a literary themed pub crawl. The character they are following is up to you.
  3. The convention of the International Brotherhood of Magicians takes place today. Magicians and illusionists gather from all over the world. And then the murders begin.
  4. In 1980, the Supreme Court ruled that new forms of life created in labs could be patented. You character is a new type of intelligent life which has been created in a lab and patented.
  5. Take Your Dog to Work Day is celebrated around now. What happens when your character takes their dog to work?
