Prompts

  1. The Compleat Angler by Isaak Walton was published this date in 1653. Write a story about a fishing trip.
  2. In 2013, the BBC announced it had unearthed several missing episodes of Doctor Who. Write the plot of a missing episode of an old TV programme - it can be Doctor Who, or, if that's not your thing, how about Dad's Army, The Avengers, Till Death Us Do Part, On the Buses or any other 60s TV show you like.
  3. On World Mental Health Day, write a story about someone who is struggling with a mental illness.

  5. It's Handbag Day. Write a story featuring a handbag.

Character Traits
  • Likely to become famous or be a great leader with a destiny to influence the destinies of others. Are successful in almost every aspect of life. Will be successful in business.
  • Strong, noble, good-looking with lordly manners.
  • At their worst, they can be overbearing, cold, selfish and heartless.
  • Can be geniuses, with the ability to assess exactly what they need to do to get to the top. Then they will do it, no matter what it costs.
