3. It's Chicken Soup For The Soul Day. Try writing a chicken soup for the soul type story. Warm, comforting, reassuring with a large helping of schmaltz! Angels, pets, children, the spirits of departed relatives coming to the aid of a person in a time of distress. You know the kind of thing.
4. In 1933, Hugh Gray took the first known photographs of the Loch Ness Monster. Write a story featuring the monster. A party of people setting out to photograph or film it; an unexpected sighting or encounter with it, or even a piece from the point of view of Nessie herself - what does she make of all these divers with cameras?
5. On the birthdate of sculptor Auguste Rodin, write a story entitled either "The Kiss" or "The Thinker".
