  2. It's National Cake Day. Write a story in which a cake features prominently.
  3. The Little Lady Who Made A Big War.
  4. Soap opera spoof series Soap first aired in 1978. Write an episode of a spoof soap opera. Include as many soap opera cliches as you can.
  5. Write a short story featuring the characters in Charles Schultz's cartoon strip Peanuts.
