A year of writing prompts: 7 November

How to use these prompts

Who are these people?
How did they come by the sword?
What are they planning to do with it?

Prompts

  1. In 1872, the Mary Celeste sailed from New York bound for Genoa with a crew of ten on board. It never got there, but was found four weeks later, drifting at sea, completely abandoned. Either write a theory of what might have happened to the Marie Celeste, or write about the discovery of another abandoned ship. Yes, it can be a space ship if you want.
  2. Stolen Fire.
  3. "In the midst of winter I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer." Albert Camus
  4. It was a wobbly Wednesday...
  5. In 2002, an Iranian man, believing a sorcerer had made him invisible, attempted to rob a bank. What would you do if you believed you were invisible?
