Prompts

  1. "Confidence is what you have before you understand the problem." Woody Allen
  2. Write a story featuring an Advent Calendar.
  3. Today is the anniversary of the day Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat in 1955. Your character belongs to a minority group - which one is up to you - who takes a stand on behalf of that group.
  4. Bingo was invented in 1929. Write a story about a game of Bingo. What is the prize? Is there anything unusual about the game?
  5. A Bizarre Bazaar.

Character Traits
  • A separation from loved ones causes frustration. This may be a physical separation through living in a different place, through illness, or simply because the rest of their family don't understand them.
  • Money is so important to them that they will abandon loved ones or commit crimes to get it.
  • Enjoy sport.
  • Hate anything superficial.
  • Have artistic talent and a gift for improvisation.
  • Females will be beautiful.
  • Prone to launch out with risky speculative ventures which can cause them actual danger, especially later in life.
  • May be poor and taken advantage of.
  • May feel that heavy responsibilities or circumstances prevent them from doing what they really want to do.
  • Accidents involving wheeled vehicles are possible, as is some sort of captivity or imprisonment.
  • Attracted to non-conformist ideas.
