How to use these prompts

Write about the people who erected this outdoor tree.
and the people who pass it as they go about their daily business.

Prompts

  2. Ugly Christmas Sweater Day is celebrated around now. Your character is required to wear an ugly Christmas sweater to work. Describe their sweater and people's reaction to it, or alternatively, perhaps your character doesn't own an ugly Christmas sweater and has to acquire one in order to follow their boss's orders.
  3. Slavery was abolished in the US in 1865. Write a story about a slave, either in the US around this period or in another historical period of your choice.
  4. Also in the US on this date in the US, prohibition began. Write a story about prohibition. It can be a historical piece set in 1920's America, or a fictitious world, perhaps a future one where health and safety goes mad and tries to ban alcohol or some other common substance.
  5. A child is wishing, and/or praying, for a White Christmas.
