March 4

  1. Write about someone who marches forth.
  2. "I want to be wholly artificial." Lola Ferrari
  3. It's the Festival of Pirate Utopias. Describe a community all pirates aspire to be able to live in and/or retire to. How is it governed? What holidays do they observe? And so on.
  4. It's Toy Soldier Day. A little boy has a box of toy soldiers. One night, they come alive at midnight, with the purpose of fighting one battle for him.
  5. 1824 saw the founding of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. Write a story featuring a lifeboat.
